Superficially, fandoms seem straightforward, familiar. We are all, to some degree, fans of something -- a band, a fashion label, a tv programme.

Through the form of random generation, we became fans of "New Moon" this time. We anthropomorphize the new moon and explore fanning and fandom through visual and media sociological and anthropological approaches.
